Sailing parade
    2011-08-30  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A TOTAL of 605 ships of different sizes participated in a sailing parade in front of the Olympics Sailing Center on Aug. 20, which is the largest sailing parade held in the country.

The 605 ships include yachts and motorboats and the "flagship" was the giant yacht, the Montaigne, from England.

Built in 2009 in Turkey, the Montaigne is about 57 meters long and has parked at the Olympics Sailing Center for more than one month. It was the largest and best facilitated giant yacht at the Sailing Week in Qingdao.

Meanwhile, 400 small yachts with teenagers from more than 10 countries and regions also joined in the parade.
