周迅加盟好莱坞电影《云图》 Gong Li and Zhang Ziyi have been there, now it's Zhou Xun's turn to venture into Hollywood. The award-winning Chinese actress will star opposite Hollywood A-listers Tom Hanks and Halle Berry in a sci-fi blockbuster, according to a statement issued by Zhou's management. Based on David Michelle's multiple-award-winning bestseller "Cloud Atlas," the film will be helmed by visionary filmmakers the Wachowski brothers (of "The Matrix" fame) and Tom Twyker ("Perfume"). Other cast members include Hugo Weaving and Susan Sarandon. It certainly sounds promising for Zhou, who turned in a stellar performance in spy thriller "The Message" last year. She will next be seen in three star-studded blockbusters, namely the Tsui Hark-directed martial arts flick "The Flying Swords of Dragon Gate," "The Great Magician" (opposite Tony Leung and Sean Lau) and "Painted Skin 2" (also starring Zhao Wei). |
