School buses hit the road
    2011-09-27  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

QINGDAO has opened nine school bus lines in the downtown area since Sept. 22.

A pilot scheme, the school bus service is provided by a bus company established by the city’s transport group.

All drivers have more than 20 years of driving experience and have a clean driving record over the past five years.

Parents can get a real-time look at their children on the school bus with the help of a 3G monitoring system.

Besides being up to the same standard as school buses in the United States, the buses will have a strong impact-resistance capability, according to Qu Guoqing, manager of the bus company of Qingdao Shipbuilding Group.
