THE 11th legal seminar between China and Germany was held in Qingdao on Sept. 19 and 20, attracting more than 80 attendants in the legal profession from the two countries. This year’s seminar had the theme of “Legal regulation and mechanism on criminal proceedings.” The annual seminar was initiated in 2000 to set a precedent for fair dialogue on the rule of law between countries with different cultures and political systems.
