QINGDAO has been selected as one of the Top 10 Chinese Famous Cities for Culture by netizens across the world.

The selection was held by several Chinese media outlets and was promoted around the world, aiming at letting more people know about China and Chinese culture. The two-month online vote ended July 30 and more than 5 million netizens voted on the online platform.

The netizens said that Qingdao had a long history, rich cultural background and creative cultural industries. The other cities include Beijing, Chengdu, Xi’an, Nanjing, Lhasa, Dali, Guangzhou, Guilin and Pingyao.
