2,000 residents distil their own wine
    2011-09-27  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

MORE than 2,000 Qingdao residents bought about 3 tons of grapes to make their own wine on the first day of the city’s wine-making competition recently.

“Many residents enjoy distilling their own wine at home. Drinking home-made wine with family and friends is even more of a bonding experience than doing housework,” said resident Zhao Ping.

Zhao has been making wine at home for more than 10 years, while his friend Zhao Jianyun bought 750 kilograms of grapes last year in Pingdu for making wine.
