CONSTRUCTION of Qingdao’s Metro Line 3 has been going smoothly, according to the city’s Metro construction command center.

    Work has started on the construction of 22 stations on Line 3.

    A preliminary decoration plan has been completed for the 22 stations.

    In addition, industrial development planning along Metro Lines 2 and 3 has been finished.

    Construction of the city’s Metro Line 2 is scheduled to start in the first half of next year.

    A feasibility research report on Line 2 was submitted to the National Development and Reform Commission on Oct. 10 last year for review and approval.

    A preliminary geological survey of Line 2 has been completed and a detailed survey is under way.
