Qingdao has started providing free college classes to 30 young citizens.

The first of its kind, the free teaching program covers two majors, law and industrial and commercial management. The program is scheduled to last for two and half a year.

The 30 beneficiaries were chosen by the city's government department at all levels, most of whom have claimed honorary awards in different fields.
