National moral models meet residents
    2011-10-25  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

AN exchange activity between people who have been rewarded for being models of moral behavior and the city's outstanding warm-hearted people was held in Qingdao on Oct. 15.

Attendees talked about their achievements in doing good deeds and helping the needy. More than 10,000 netizens watched the activities on the Internet and more than 1,000 netizens shared their thoughts in helping the needy.

A total of 266 people in Shandong Province have been elected as "outstanding warm-hearted persons" since a national office promoting good behaviors started the selection in 2008, including 29 from Qingdao.

The role models also lectured students at the Laoshan District No. 2 Middle School.
