Please do not call people insulting names
    2011-10-26  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

罗士涵 东莞市北师大翰林实验学校九年级(15)班

指导老师:蒋坛军

I used to call classmates nicknames. It made me happy at the time, because I thought nicknames were funny, and I did not realize they could be hurtful.

"Sow the wind and reap the whirlwind." Recently, somebody called me "Radish Head." Unfortunately, it became popular to call me by this name. I felt unhappy and hurt. At that moment, I could not help recalling the past when I used to call people nicknames and I realized I had got what I deserved.

Clearly, insulting nicknames hurt others, the valued friendship and finally myself, so I have decided never to call anybody nicknames again. So, if you are going to make up a nickname for another person, make it a positive one.
