A DAHUANGBU tomato from Mingcun Town, Pingdu, won the gold award at the 9th China International Agricultural Product Exchange Fair recently.

The type of tomato has been approved as a national organic, green food since 2006 and has passed 53 international food safety examinations. It was also taken into space for experiments on the Shenzhou-7 manned spacecraft.
