THE city’s firefighting department has developed the country’s first car removal machine.

When cars block access to fires, the machine can remove them within two minutes so firefighters can reach a fire. The gadget is a U-shape steel rack on four wheels, with a pump to lift the car up.

The machine will be introduced to firefighting teams in other cities.
