Classic drama on stage
    2011-11-15  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A SHAKESPEARE comedy, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” by the British TNT Theater, was on stage in Qingdao on Nov. 13.

The play is about two men in love with each other’s girlfriends under magic influence. The four experienced a series of misunderstanding, quarrels and fights. It is one of Shakespeare’s most popular romantic comedies.

Established in 1980, the TNT is one of the world-class drama troupe which has won many international golden awards. They also toured in countries and regions such as Germany, France, Russia and Japan. Their performance can inspire audiences and many art forms, such as singing, music and dancing, are combined in the play.

They were also on stage in Qingdao in summer with Shakespeare’s another classic comedy “Much Ado About Nothing.”
