THERE were 64 new overseas projects with total investment of US$430 million in the first 10 months of this year. Exports of technology, equipment, raw materials and parts reached US$750 million as a direct result of foreign investment. According to statistics, there were 10 overseas projects with contracts worth US$35,975 in the first 10 months, decreasing by 18.96 percent over the same period of last year, while the turnover reached US$84,236, an increase of 7.11 percent. The city signed new foreign labor cooperation projects with total salary of US$59.43 million in the first 10 months, increasing by 20.21 percent over last year, while income from labor service in foreign countries reached US$53.82 million, decreasing by 15.97 percent.
