Tsingtao Beer has cooperated with foreign companies such as Asahi and AB. It chose Thailand as the location of its first overseas factory because of the similar culture. “Thailand’s economy is thriving and is a famous tourist destination, so there is big potential in its beer market,” said Jin Zhiguo, president of the company. Meanwhile, beer has a short shelf life and Thailand is at the center of the ASEAN countries. For this reason, Thailand is a good export base.
