QINGDAO has built a legal aid platform for its residents with hearing difficulties.

The platform offers services including consultation on policies, laws and regulations, as well as civil agency and criminal defense.

There has been an increasing demand among hearing-impaired people in Qingdao for legal aid. The legal aid center in the city’s Shibei District dealt with 103 cases involving hearing-handicapped people in the first half of this year.
