SIX solar-energy photovoltaic greenhouses with total investment of more than 20 million yuan were built in Pudong, Jimo City. An advanced LED system was also built inside the greenhouse to improve vegetables’ production volume and quality. Each greenhouse is like a power station, making a profit of 300,000 yuan a year. The high-technology greenhouse can help make agricultural revenue of 175,000 yuan a year, much more than the money made by traditional greenhouses.
