First national technician studio opens
    2011-12-06  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

THE country’s first studio for national-level technological professionals has opened in Qingdao.

According to the plan, the country will build 50 studios for high-level technical professionals this year and Qingdao’s “Xu Zhenchao technical master studio” is the first to open.

“Opening a technological professional studio is an important move to promote professional training,” said an official from the city’s human resources and social security bureau.

Experts can pass on their knowledge to apprentices and build a professional education system for key technologies.

Most of the studios were opened by award-winning technicians and leading technical experts in related field.

The city has also taken measures on training high-level technicians over recent years. At present, there are more than 142,000 high-level technological professionals in the city, including 123,000 senior technological experts and 19,000 senior technicians.
