QINGDAO has released a plan for building a Sino-Germany ecological park. According to the plan, the park will become a model zone for cooperation between Europe and Asia and economic development of the blue economy on Shandong Peninsula.

    The two countries will cooperate in areas such as the energy-saving industry, energy environment technology, trading and financial services.

    The development mode for the park will be unveiled by the end of this year and construction will start immediately after.

    A batch of key industrial projects will be introduced in Germany in 2012. Management, monitoring and analysis platforms will also be completed in 2012.

    By the end of 2015, infrastructure construction will be completed.

    The park will be fully completed by the end of 2020 and it will become one of the world’s leading industrial parks for high-end industries within 10 years.
