City seeks to develop domestic service industry
    2011-12-13  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

THE city government has released a policy to support the development of the domestic service industry.

The policy comes at a time when the city’s domestic service industry has been developing slowly, although there are more than 1,000 domestic service institutions with over 20,000 employees, according to the city’s human resources and social security bureau.

The government will give a monthly 200-yuan subsidy to each person legally employed by the domestic service industry.

In addition, subsidies will be given to employers who recruit college graduates from poor families.

Meanwhile, the city government will give a monthly subsidy to self-employed people who do domestic service.
