Netizens respond to ‘red ribbons’
    2011-12-13  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

NETIZENS have spoken about the positive influence the “red ribbons” have had on the city.

“The ‘red ribbon’ symbolizes our city’s spirit,” said a netizen identified as “lovely.”

“If we all made a habit of doing small acts of kindness, it would make life exponentially better. I hope there are more ‘red ribbons’ flying in the city,” said another netizen called “green land red flowers.”

The netizens said many people were discussing the “red ribbons” and the initiative was becoming increasingly popular. “I have seen more people giving up their seats to the elderly on buses lately. I hope that all residents can make Qingdao a better place,” said a netizen named “little rice.” The “red ribbon” is a special view, a window to the city’s civilization.

“It must be promoted across the city, letting everybody feel proud and happy in helping others,” said a netizen called “shiny moon and stars.”
