Three students win national recognition
    2011-12-13  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

THREE students from the Attached School of Qingdao University became 2011 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences for Children.

The three students are Li Mingxuan, Yu Tingshao and Shi Kexin.

More than 1 million primary school and junior school students around the country competed for the selection.

Only 100 were selected after a series of interviews, examinations and reviews.

The topic of Li’s oral examination was analysis of the city’s housing prices. Judges, including academicians from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, were impressed by his replies and chose him as the one of the Top 10 Child Academicians. (Wang Yuanyuan, Zhang Bei)
