TWO volunteers were sent to Germany to help with local architecture protection Dec. 5, International Volunteer Day. It was the first time Qingdao has sent volunteers abroad.

    Young architecture lovers aged between 18 and 26 who can speak fluent German can apply for the program. They will receive training before leaving.

    Those who are interested in the program can download application forms at www.qdyouth.com. The deadline is February. The program is organized by the German historical relics and architecture protection foundation.
