Finnish musicians invited to review orchestra
    2011-12-13  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

FOUR top musicians from Finland were invited to give a year-end review of members of Qingdao Symphony Orchestra when they performed together at Qingdao People’s Hall recently.

“In the past we have invited distinguished domestic musicians, who might have their judgment clouded by personal relationships with the orchestra members. So this time we invited overseas experts. Their reviews can show the real ability of the orchestra and every musician in the orchestra can learn more about their profession,” said Zhang Guoyong, art consultant of the orchestra.

Shanghai Symphony Orchestra also invited overseas experts to review their skills, but the Qingdao orchestra was the first to invite them to perform.
