THREE new energy projects have officially started operation in Pingdu.

    “The Qingdao energy institute of the Chinese Academy of Science invested 210 million yuan and the first three projects cost about 85.5 million yuan, ” said Yao Sanli, the official in charge of the projects.

    The energy-microalgal incubation system will produce biodiesel. It is expected to produce 5,000 tons of the fuel a year.(Wang Yuanyuan, Qian Zhuo)
