1,400 families move to new apartments

    ABOUT 1,400 families living in Bijia Shangliu and Yangjia Shangliu communities will move into a new community in 2014 to make way for the Qingdao World Horticultural Expo.

    The total area of the new houses is 506,000 square meters and the project is expected to finish construction in September 2013.

    Licang District plans to bring as many benefits as possible to residents. According to the plan, a retirement home covering an area of 5,000 square meters, a kindergarten covering an area of 3,000 square meters and a primary school covering an area of 3,600 square meters will be built in the modern community.
