More overseas-funded projects introduced
    2011-12-27  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

QINGDAO has sped up the construction of key projects and more overseas-funded projects have been introduced to the city this year.

So far, 260 key projects have been under construction and some have already started operation. The growing number of overseas-funded projects has also helped the city’s industrial transformation.

Among the 260 key projects, some projects such as Jiaozhou Bay Bridge, new-energy battery and Huaqiang Cultural Technology Industrial Park have already opened. Three other key service projects, including a shopping mall worth nearly 200 million yuan, a Yuanhong international plaza with total investment of 1.19 billion yuan and a Qingdao international trade center covering an area of 327,000 square meters, all completed construction.
