City pilots e-business
    2011-12-27  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

QINGDAO has become a national e-business model city. The city will pilot e-business in areas such as trading credit files, e-contracts and digital certificates to promote the application of e-businesses and the virtual economy.

The city will promote e-business application in advanced manufacturing, digital home appliances, digital domestic services and traditional trading industries and more training will be given to professionals in the area.

3G networks and wireless broadband network services will cover at least 80 percent of companies and government organizations in 2015, while the number of international e-business trading service companies will reach more than 150,000 with total transaction volume of more than 2,000 billion yuan. The e-business application will cover all the city’s key companies and 60 percent of small and medium enterprises.

More than 10 big companies such as Liqun, Gohome, Sunning, Haier and Hisense all open online shops. Among them, three, including Liqun and Haier, became national-level e-business model companies in July.
