QINGDAO Dongjia Textile Machine Co. Ltd. signed contracts worth more than 50 million yuan at this year’s Shanghai International Textile Industrial Expo with Chinese Famous Brand products, said Yang Xiaohui, president of the company.

Textile machinery has been a leading industry in Jiaonan. Leading companies include Dongjia, Universe, Tianyi and Xinghuo groups with large market shares in global markets. Wangtai Town in Jiaonan became the Chinese Famous Textile Machine Town for the third time in 2010. Total production volume of the industry in Jiaonan reached 8.36 billion yuan with sales revenue of 7.49 billion yuan last year, increasing by 28.6 percent and 24.3 percent respectively.
