TWO reconstruction projects have been completed and residents will be allowed to move into their new apartments.

    A total of 2,340 families participated in a five-day drawing of lots to get the apartments distributed during the New Year holiday. They can get the keys at the end of March and move into the modern residential communities. In Dazao Garden, there are two primary schools, one middle school, three kindergartens, one retirement home, one community hospital, several activity centers, a commercial street and a 35,000-sqm theme park.

    Meanwhile, residents in Heya Village in Sifang District have received keys to their new homes. A total of 288 apartments were distributed to 206 villagers. Covering an area of 35,800 square meters, the community has six buildings with 1,500 square meters of parking space. Advanced solar-power heaters were installed for each household. Another high-rise building in the community will be put into use in 2013.
