My experience on the bus
    2012-01-11  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

Today, my mother took me to Nantou in Nanshan District, Shenzhen. When we got on the bus, there were no seats left and many people were already standing. I stood beside a middle-aged woman.

A moment later, I saw a thief putting one of his hands into the pocket of the woman. He wanted to steal the woman’s purse. I wanted to call “Stop, thief!” But if the man denied it, I would feel awkward in front of so many people.

Just at that moment, a good idea came into my mind. I took the woman’s hand and said, “Auntie, let’s solve a riddle, OK?” The thief drew back his hand at immediately and left.

Then I told the woman the entire story. She thanked me and said: “You are a good girl.” I was more than happy because I cleverly stopped a theft from happening.
