Zooey Deschanel may have missed out on the “Best Actress in a TV Show” award at the 2012 Golden Globes, but she was certainly a winner on the red carpet, dazzling in a dark green silk custom-made Prada dress.

    The top half of the backless dress was embellishing with black and emerald green pearls, framed by an ivory pearl collar. Her emerald green glass pearl clutch complimented her dress with a pair of black satin pumps.

    “I was wearing a gown but my nails were wearing tuxedos,” the actress tweeted Sunday, referring to her nails that were custom-painted with little black tuxedos bows.

    The best actress nominee for her role in “New Girl” also sported a retro hair style with a straight fringe that framed her bright blue eyes and side curls.

    Meanwhile, rumors about a potential relationship with Joseph Gordon-Levitt have been surrounding the actress, after the duo recently united for a New Year’s Eve duet. They have previously co-stared in the film “500 Days of Summer” in 2009.(SD-Agencies)
