AN I’TV2 television developed by Hisense Group received the “Value Innovation Award” at the International Consumer Electronics Show, held in the American city of Las Vegas earlier this month. Hisense Group became the first Chinese company to win one of the biggest awards at the show. In 2011, the award went to Apple Inc. The I’TV2 is one of the world’s first individual, intellectual televisions, introducing TV functions through a panel computer, according to show officials. “The I’ TV is a new kind of electronics and it has showed Chinese companies’ efforts in meeting consumers’ needs before they are demanded,” a show organizer said.
