People crowd museum, sculpture park
    2012-01-31  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

QINGDAO Museum and Qingdao Sculpture Park were crowded with visitors during the Spring Festival holiday.

In addition to routine exhibits, Qingdao Museum held two special exhibitions during the holiday, respectively featuring cultural relic pictures and 78 handiworks from the Qing Dynasty.

Visitors acquired better knowledge of traditional Chinese culture through various exhibitions at the museum.

Covering an area of 80,000 square meters, the city’s sculpture park caught attention of local residents and people from outside the city with its modern art ambience.

The park is operated by the Qingdao campus of Chinese National Academy of Sculpture, which is to be turned into a trading center of artworks.
