Recently, some friends started an online discussion about one's dream job.

They talked about some interesting ideas. GM, or game master, was one of them.

For those who love gaming, becoming a GM could really be a dream job in terms of work hours, salary, benefits, work relationships, work environment and more.

First, a GM works while playing games and, as a result, the work hours can be very flexible. A GM doesn't need to work for a whole, tiring day like other jobs.

Second, a GM's salary can be comparatively high when measured against some other lines of work.

Third, a GM can get many benefits -- which, again, are just for playing games. For example, a GM does not need to spend money to play interesting games he or she likes.

Fourth, a GM can get to know many people and working relationships can be very extensive, because each GM can receive a large number of messages from different people every day.

Finally, a GM can change his or her workplace and environment, because a GM can work anywhere with a computer linked to the Internet. For example, a GM can work at home, in an office, in a cafe, in a KFC restaurant, in a park with Wifi access, in a hotel and so on.

This job seems to be a very good one for game lovers, but is not suited for everyone. Different people have different dream jobs and it is best for each of us to seek our own ideal career.
