QINGDAO will renovate the old stadium in the downtown area.

    Located on Deping Road, the Qingdao Second Stadium is surrounded and frequently used by primary and middle schools.

    The renovation will cover the old facilities in the stadium, turning it into a public fitness center.

    The center will consist of a track field, a standard soccer pitch and two artificial soccer pitches.

    It will cover an area of more than 25,000 square meters and has a new floor area of more than 5,452 square meters, including underground and overground parts.(Li Hao, Fan Lina)
