Traditional class opened at museum
    2012-02-14  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

QINGDAO’S museum has opened a class to children on the quintessence of traditional Chinese culture.

Dressed in a traditional Chinese garment, Zuo Lei, a teacher from the city’s Huanyanglu Primary School, encouraged more than 20 children aged between 6 and 10 to greet each other using ancient etiquette.

The theme of the first class was water, touching upon ancient stories about water and environmental protection. During the break, Zuo led the children to the exhibition room in the museum, looking for water-themed exhibits.

Parents also learned much from the two-hour special class.(Li Hao, Li Wei)
