    2012-02-21  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

AIR Busan’s passenger operation between Qingdao and Busan has been approved by the government.

Starting in March there will be one flight from Qingdao to Busan every day. In the meantime, a cargo route between Guangzhou and Los Angeles by China Southern Airlines via Qingdao will also start operation March 1. More international air routes will be opened at Qingdao airport this year, making the airport an international hub.

More applications for air routes between Qingdao and Japan and South Korea are also expected to be approved. After they are opened, there will be 25 flights from Qingdao airport to various cities in the two countries.

Qingdao will promote the construction of a regional international airport this year. Flights from Qingdao to Europe will increase.

The airport will also cooperate with other domestic airports.
