THE construction of fresh farm produce markets will be sped up this year.

    Specialized regional agricultural product logistics centers and wholesale markets will be built. An aquatic product market, a flower market and a ginger wholesale market will respectively be built in Shazikou, Laoshan District, Xiazhuang, Chengyang District and Renzhao, Pingdu City this year.

    A modern farm and sideline product wholesale market featuring trading, storage, processing and distribution will be built to ensure the quality of farm produce. Small fresh markets will also be built in communities for the convenience of residents.

    Two public farm produce markets and vegetable markets will be rebuilt to provide cheap vegetables.
