On December 15, 2011, a chorus competition was held on the new campus of Xin’an Middle School in Bao’an District. All Senior 1 students took part. The competition started at 4:10 p.m. and when it ended at 6:10 p.m., nobody wanted to leave. Classes competed to have the most interesting performance. Students played a variety of musical instruments, such as guitar, piano, drums, and trumpet. Some students even did kung fu while singing. I never knew such a feat was possible. Perhaps some classes didn’t have enough time to prepare, thus fell below the standard set by others. In the end, Class 14 won, deservedly so. Congratulations to them. But it wasn’t about winning, it was about having a good time. Also, we learned about ourselves and the importance of teamwork. It was an important day in all of our lives. |
