I am proud of being a girl and would like to be a girl again if I were given another life. Imagine a girl’s life. When just a little baby, she cries and eats and messes up everything. Later, as she grows up, her mother makes her dress like a Barbie doll or a princess. When she reaches adolescence, she becomes a little rebellious — or, actually, she acts pretty crazy. Parents never get to know what’s going on in her brain and she won’t tell them such secrets. Why is that? Because she confides her secrets to her friends, who have the same troubles as she does. They also talk about singers, superstars, fashion and so many things parents would not pay attention to. But after the girl leaves her parents and goes to college alone, she becomes homesick and misses her dear parents a lot. While she gradually gets through life without parents’ daily nagging and care, she grows into an adult and becomes a part of society. She might still have troubles but she learns to handle everything. Years later, she gets married and becomes a housewife. Then she gives birth to her own baby. The moment she holds her baby in her arms, she realizes how much her parents loved her. |
