Last week, junior students in second grade went to a labor skills training base. It was a happy time and I experienced a lot of new things and learned a lot. The girls, including me, lived in Room 511. The first three days we practiced paper cutting. It was really difficult to make a piece of work but very easy to destroy it if we didn’t take great care. We had to be patient and careful. The next two days we sewed an apron. It took me much time and energy, but I still tried my best to finish it because I wanted to take it home and give it to my mother as a gift. We also had challenging experiences. Every day, we had to practice drilling, including running and standing still in the morning. The most painful thing was that our coach officer often made us hold difficult poses for a long time, which really tormented me at first. When the training course was over, I felt much stronger in mind and body. Life in Room 511 has become a sweet memory. I love Room 511 and I love our coach officer. It was a wonderful experience that I will never forget. |
