THE throughput of Qingdao Harbor reached 100 million tons in the first quarter of this year, while its container throughput reached 3.51 million standard containers. Both are the highest in history.

A total of 12 new routes are added in the first three months. The harbor developed inland markets such as Hebei, Henan, Shanxi, Shaanxi and Jiangsu provinces. Business introduction meetings are held in Xi’an, Shaanxi Province, and Zhengzhou, Henan Province. At present, the harbor’s market share in Henan is 63 percent. Measures have been taken to create new cargos. This year, 578 cars have been exported through the port.
