City’s 1st hiking track to open
this month
    2012-04-24  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

THE city’s first hiking track on Haier Road will open to the public at the end of this month.

The track is located on the east of Haier Road from Haikou Road to Heilongjiang Road. It is about 6.7 kilometers and 2.4 kilometers will be opened this month, including a cycling track, a park lane and pavilions.

The cycling track and foot path are rebuilt from the former pedestrians on Haier Road, while the 1-meter-wide park lane is hidden in the greenbelt.

Haier Road is one of the main roads in Laoshan District with a large number of commercial buildings. More than 7,000 trees and 14,356 shrubs have been planted along the hiking track. (Wang Yuanyuan)
