Recently, my family moved to a new apartment in a residential community. We are all very happy with our new life.

White walls, clear windows, neat floor, nice furniture, and soft light, I was quite excited about all these. “What a cozy home!” I thought. From the balcony I could see the green Huangqi Mountain, beautiful views of the city, and a myriad of lights.

The environment of the community is very fine, too. Green grass, colorful flowers, lush trees, wandering lanes, crystal pool, chirping birds and even ringing frog croaks that are rarely heard in urban areas. Neighbors like doing exercise in the morning and at dawn, or taking walks after dinner inside this charming garden-like place.

I know that my parents took many years to be able to afford this home. Their hair has gone from black to grey in that time. I deeply thank my parents’ dedication to our family and I will cherish our life in this new house.
