"青少年人格教育项目"全面启动

A personality education program for youth was launched May 12 in Shenzhen, to help students improve their personalities, psychological health, sex education and understanding of family relationships.

Free lectures and consultations will be given regularly in communities and schools, the city's family planning department announced.

Parents are invited to participate in the program. Famous education experts will give free lectures to parents about how to understand children and strengthen the parent-children relationship.

A club for "problem students" will also be established at the department's sex education center. The club will give free psychological and consultation services to students once a week, building a platform to help "problem students" get back to a healthy, productive student life.

Other activities include family health trainings, reading salons and interactive activities.

A research project on students' personalities will be launched among most schools in the city.
