广州市天河区五山华南农业大学跃进南34-204 葛静 The fast pace of urbanization may be partly responsible for the brain drain in rural areas, which can cause lagging development. In order to solve the problem, policies are implemented to encourage intelligent, energetic and ambitious graduates to settle in rural areas as village officials, which I think is good for both the graduates and the villages. College graduates, young and well-equipped with knowledge, can provide social services efficiently and with enthusiasm. More importantly, they can lead the villagers to success by utilizing their knowledge. Also, young people are very familiar with the latest technological innovations and can spread their benefits to villagers. For the graduates, working in rural areas can force them to strengthen their wills, as rural living conditions can be less favorable than those of urban cities. The difficulties can train them to be more adaptable and the unfamiliar environments can broaden their horizons. Last but not least, the young village officials will learn to shoulder responsibilities when they realize they can improve people's lives through their efforts. |
