ACCORDING to statistics, there were 25 projects worth US$506 million which were invested in overseas countries and regions in the first four months of this year, increasing by 189.5 percent compared with the same period of last year. Among these, about US$ 480 million were invested by Chinese companies, increasing by 170 percent over the previous year. The turnover for outsourcing projects was US$1.14 billion, an increase of 76.8 percent over 2011. A total of 2,483 workers were sent abroad, increasing by 410 percent over the previous year.
