安妮·海瑟薇很高兴成为动作明星

Anne Hathaway has joked she will open shopping malls now she's a bona fide action star.

The actress stars as Selina Kyle/Catwoman in Christopher Nolan's hotly-anticipated Batman movie "The Dark Knight Rises."

She has been quizzed on what it feels like to be a female action hero in the male-dominated film, which also stars Christian Bale and Tom Hardy.

"Wonderful. I'm going to open a shopping mall!" she laughed to Empire magazine. "No, I didn't think about it like that. It wasn't about, 'Oh, I'm a girl who's going to beat these boys up,' and I'm sorry to sound so serious about it, but it was all about the character… it didn't matter what my feelings were. I just had to keep my head down and stack it like she would."

Anne admits there were some embarrassing moments on set. She occasionally got caught up in the Batman cape Christian had to wear.

"You know, they have a few Batman capes for different camera lenses and there was one cape Christian was wearing that was so long, I kept tripping on it," she admitted.
