陆婉莹 There have been cases of suicide on campus. It turns out most of the suicides were caused by relatively trivial things, such as the loss of puppy love, exam stress, or struggling to find a job. Yes, I think society should do more to prevent suicide. But I think the most important thing is the attitude of individuals. Maybe people who commit suicide think death will solve their problems. They are wrong. Their families will be bereaved and their friends and teachers will have to overcome their loss. Moreover, unsuccessful suicide attempts may have long-term effects such as physical disabilities. Parents whose only children commit suicide will have a very lonely old age. Suicide does not solve anything and it is hugely irresponsible. Many people lead happy and successful lives after overcoming setbacks and unavoidable misfortunes. Abraham Lincoln suffered more hardships than just about anyone, but he overcame them all. If we are not afraid of dieing, then we should not be afraid of living. All in all, let's cherish life. Mussels transform the torturing sand to pearls. It is only after a rainstorm that a rainbow appears. |
